"A well written story... unputdownable."
Ayesha is a young travel-writer, who has been stumbling along in her search for love. Nursing a broken heart, she decides to visit her parents in Ahmedabad for a short reprieve. Even as she struggles to resign herself to a marriage ‘arranged’ by her parents, she runs into their neighbour’s attractive son.
Parth is more than happy to spend time in his own company, in the comforts of his ‘resort’. His plan to take some time off before he plunges head long into his career lands him in front of a lovely girl. Her warm smile belies the pain in her eyes and he finds himself irresistibly drawn to her. Yet he knows that this cannot end well, for any intimacy with her is forbidden.
Fate plays a cruel trick with Ayesha when it ends her search for love in a cul-de-sac, a point of no return. Ayesha is distraught when she realizes that the one person she has finally fallen in love with, is not hers to be had.
They part ways with memories that will return to haunt them and questions that will remain unanswered, until another tryst, seven years later on the other side of the world.

"In Search of Love is a delicately handled romance novel by Piyushi Dhir. It brings out the fact that all stumbling blocks that hurl into a relationship between two people, actually pile up somewhere to become stepping stones to a beautiful life they are meant to share together. The narrative of the story is fluid, sprinkled with graceful verses every now and then. "

Those of us who have been a part of residential courses would identify with this book.It is about two years in a college and captures everything that happens in the interim: friendships, love, heartaches, college elections, the likes. Have never been a fan of romance as a genre but this one avoids clichés or tackiness. The story flows smoothly. A breezy read!
A fast paced novel. I relived my college days among the pages. Very real characters who brought out the emotions of joy, love, pain, sorrow and happiness throughout the book!
In Search of Love... a sweet love story!
